They play word games by saying they're "professional sorters". But, bottom line, if someone is purchasing a product, there is a sale. In the 3-way call, an advisor will ask for the sale. You will be expected but not required to become that advisor, in fact they encourage you to get on even if you haven't made your qualifying sales. You are expected to call at least 100 people per week from some time of lead generation - whether you can do it yourself or purchase them. If you don't like telemarketing, then this can be a challenge that you may choose to overcome or not, but you need to consider it. Lead generation is not as easy as you are lead to believe. The leads that LLI recommends are owned by one of the co-founders and when I found that out, I found it very sleazy to misrepresent the associates. There are 3 products - the Beyond Freedom home study course, the Liberty Conference and the Summit Conference. Actually, even though the Beyond Freedom kit is $1495, I liked it. It is like a Reader's Digest version of a lot of books out there and gets to the point and provides exercises to do to improve yourself. The Liberty Conference has excellent speakers and gives you a taste for the better life - which I think people need to do to open their minds up to bigger possibilities. I haven't been to the Summit. The quoted startup cost is $49.95 for the kit. You're expected to continue the website for 39.95 ea month after, 34.95/mo for Quicklister - access for marketing software, 99.95/quarter for the Prolink phone system, and an 800 number. They will tell you that these aren't required but you have no access to the training if you don't join Prolink and they don't tell you how to do business without these items. Advertising is in addition to this. When I joined I asked if the market was saturated with ads and was told that there are more than 30 million people out there unhappy with their jobs. It sounded reasonable. What I realized later is that it didn't answer my question. That answer would have been "yes" because if you internet market, you will compete for the same space as all the other people in LL and if you do newspapers, that's the same. The "training" consists of talking you into buying into the Libery and Summit Conference or you will lose so much money. But, once you purchase your ticket, they tell you to qualify yourself - which totally negates the advantage of your own purchase. Why not just sell one more ticket if you have to qualify yourself? Well, they fixed that dilemma for them because they changed the compensation system at the beginning of the year. Now there's a 90 day wait if you sell 5 instead of purchasing yours. You'll need to look at what people are really saying - they're very tricky with their wording. "I sold 5 Beyond Freedoms" means that 5 people said they would purchase - but only 2 will actually follow through -and they are honest about it. What I find troublesome about Gabriel's comments is that he insults pe
