Ones For
Whom It's The Right Thing To Be Doing, No One Else
That's who you seek. That's the mission. The 'else's' cost energy, emotion, money and motivation you cannot afford to waste on them.
A BANK STORY. Just in case you thought you were the only one with 'just a few good people' and the rest, well, you know, can't get 'em to do a thing...
Well,
it's not just you. Banks for example, are the same. In the book,
'Customers.com', (Get the Book Here!) Seybold writes about a bank, which had just discovered
by detailed analyses that "20% of its customers were responsible
for 100% of the profits." Not only that. "...The 80% left
eroded it (the bank's profit) down to what appears on the bank's
income statement."
Bummer, huh? So what should you do with the 80% who 'eroded the bank's profit' down and down? Well, you all know what Ms. Stud would say, yes? The 'Good bye message' for sure.
Well, guess what Seybold says that she recommended to the bank: do whatever it takes to "encourage the wrong customers to defect...to someone else" for whom they might be better match. Yeah. Let someone else have people who are losers and drags on you.
