Who Else Wants A Giant Heap Without Accosting Friends, Family, Or Neighbors?



How many prospects do you talk to who warn you:  "I've burned through my warm market already, so I'm not going there."  Or "I don't want my friends and family to even know I am doing this, so...";

Do you remember the first time you saw a networking business?  The first time you got excited about the possibilities?  Do you remember thinking and telling your sponsors:  I'm going to tell everyone I know.  I'm sure they're going to see what I see.


And then, kaboom. 
What happened when you started talking to people you know?

Did they react the way you thought they would?What happened to YOUR enthusiasm?

The unexpected reactions of new recruits' friends, family and neighbors is perhaps the #1 cause of 'disappearing downline'.  No one is ready for what most of them get.

And now, because it has become known that in network marketing, most people make you hit up your friends, family and neighbors, that itself has now become the primary reason most prospects say they stay as far away as possible from network marketing. They'd RATHER work a boring 9-5 job than be forced to accost friends and family, and perhaps lose them or have no place to go for Christmas dinner.

Isn't this a ridiculous situation?

Here we are in network marketing, selling 'freedom' from doing things many people hate, such as dead end jobs and working with people they don't like.  And then, immediately upon starting them out on their new path to 'personal freedom', the first order the new recruit receives is to make up that list of 100-200 warm market, and go hit them up.  Something 95%-98% of them SAY THEY HATE TO DO.  Something that 95% of those IN THE TRENCHES right now SAY THEY HATE TO DO.  

What kind of personal freedom is that?


The ones who enjoy it now, the few, are those who have made it big, and can relish their success around their surprised relatives.  And of course, the poor souls who are still clueless about what's likely to happen to them when they go to their friends and family.  But after that first weekend, they too have been bitten by the pukey bug.  And it's usually over.  They're gone.  They'll never consider it again if they're made to do it the 'old way'.

After more than 60 years wouldn't you think someone would have developed less painful ways to reach out to family and friends?  Ways where they come to you?  The right ones of them?

Tens of thousands of people have used the DFL with their warm market.  The percent returns are about the same as for having called the people.  For every 100 DFL's sent, 1-6 people call back, on average.  Best, NO pukey PAIN.  No one ever hears 'no' with the DFL. Only the interested ones call back.

What's not to like about that?

Do you want it in your lifetime?  Consider then, this:  One can send 100 personalized DFL letters out in an afternoon.  Whereas, calling 100 people you know, at an average of 30 minutes of conversation per call, according to those on my conference calls each week, well, that's 3000 minutes, or 50 HOURS.  With mostly 'no's' and the usual pukeys.  How much good will does that generate?

How would you rather spend your time and your phone budget?

Let the DFL's do the work while you do yet OTHER reaching out methods. Or go work out or sip cappuccino with a friend.

Do you want to master other reaching out methods?  So you can offer them to new recruits as options? 

How about calling qualified lists with scripts that work; or sophisticated and friendly  direct mail or postcards to same.  Or street walking and mall cruising.  Or email marketing.  Or running cool ad campaigns-locally or nationwide. 

What if that's what you could offer your new recruits?

What if you were a master at these 6 different reaching out methods? And could offer them as alternatives to YOUR good prospects?
